No. Simple information is enough. Tell us where you feel tired, stiff or uncomfortable,
when it started, and whether you prefer gentle or stronger pressure.
Can I show you a translation on my phone?
Yes. You can use a translation app or show us written information on your phone.
During the Session
Clothing, Pressure & What to Expect
Do I stay fully clothed?
Yes. Standard Japanese Shiatsu Seitai is generally performed while you remain clothed.
Comfortable clothing is recommended.
Can the pressure be adjusted?
Yes. Please tell us if you prefer gentle, medium or stronger pressure,
or if any technique feels uncomfortable.
What areas can you work on?
Depending on your condition and session length, we may work on the neck, shoulders,
upper back, lower back, hips, legs and feet.
Is Shiatsu the same as a relaxation massage?
Shiatsu is a Japanese hands-on bodywork approach that often uses pressure with the hands,
fingers and thumbs. At GREFUL, sessions may also include Seitai-style stretching,
movement checks and posture-focused techniques depending on your condition.

Safety
When to Tell Us About Your Health
Should I mention a recent injury or surgery?
Yes. Please tell us about recent injuries, surgery, fractures, serious medical conditions,
numbness, weakness or other symptoms that may affect the session.
What if I have sudden or severe symptoms?
Sudden severe pain, new weakness, loss of bladder or bowel control, major trauma,
severe headache with neurological symptoms, chest pain or other urgent symptoms
should be medically assessed rather than treated as ordinary travel fatigue.
Can bodywork diagnose my condition?
No. GREFUL provides Shiatsu and Seitai bodywork. Medical diagnosis requires appropriate medical evaluation.
